We’re Going on a Bear Hunt Wooden Character Set

£20.00(£24.00 inc VAT)

***UPDATED DESIGN*** Now made from natural FSC pine, each figure has a 15mm flat base making them sturdy and easy to stand up. This wooden character set is based on Helen Oxenbury’s artwork from We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. Why not recreate the different environments featured in the story – grassland, woodland, mud, water, and snow scenes. Safe for age 18m+.

2 reviews for We’re Going on a Bear Hunt Wooden Character Set

  1. Practical Pre-School Awards Tester

“A great enhancement to a well-loved children’s book. The wooden characters are excellent quality and are well made, safe and durable. A very accurate representation of the illustrations and the children used the characters to act out the story. Great resource for building story language and taking on the roles of the characters at different points in the book.”

  2. Sarah Vickery, Montgomery Primary School

“They were a good size to be handled by small hands and matched the size of the small world play set up in the builder’s tray. They stood out well and weren’t lost in the story props. They were beautifully produced and detailed, matching the illustrations in the book perfectly. The characters were in good poses to be imagined to be in motion on their bear hunt (dynamic)…they were fab for our animation as they balanced well and could be positioned easily.”
