Picture books provide rich opportunities to explore language and extend vocabulary. These attractive packs include eight double-sided plastic story cards featuring the original illustrations from the book on one side and engaging language activities on the reverse. These ideas will build essential speech and language skills through discussion, and include ideas for story talk, retelling prompts, questions about the characters shown, and role play, amongst others.
Measuring 275 x 210mm and printed on durable plastic, these cards are ideal for introducing the story to a group and are tough enough for use throughout a learning environment, including outdoors. They are also fantastic as a sequencing resource, enabling discussion and engagement as the children decide on the correct retelling of the original story. They work well used alongside our Bear Hunt Wooden Characters. Safe for age 18m+.

These match the story perfectly. They are well made and tough. These are on our literacy unit and the children love taking them to the den to retell the story to their friends. The prompts on the back of the cards are very helpful to my staff which allows them to use consistent language with the children.
