Stones are a wonderful natural resource that children find hugely appealing. This satisfyingly smooth set of twelve tactile stones has been created to inspire children’s natural curiosity as they explore and sort. Older children will enjoy sorting by colour, ordering by size, stacking, and matching whilst younger hands will simply like to hold and experience the different sizes and weights the set offers.
Natural Sorting Stones are ideal for treasure baskets and sensory play activities and are also durable for use in sand, water, and outdoors. Each set includes twelve stones in three different sizes and four colours. The largest stone measures 80mm and the smallest measures 55mm. A useful bag is also included, ideal for introducing stones and for storage when the play is finished.

A fantastic example of an open ended resource. My children love moving these into the teepee and seeing who can stack them the highest. Lots of lovely mathematical language used during independent Learning. They are well made and have survived the garden for many terms now.
