This engaging, double-sided resource is perfect to help young learners develop a strong grounding and understanding of numbers to five. The frogs and log are blank on one side to develop children’s early number sense, enhancing their cardinal understanding of numbers one to five, as well as developing their counting skills.

On the reverse side, dot patterns on each frog and numerals 1–5 on the log base are revealed, facilitating the teaching of matching and ordering, counting up and counting down. Children will enjoy playing problem-solving games to work out what’s missing or what’s wrong based on the order and position of the frogs.

Ideal for extending mathematical learning and language through play, children will delight in singing the popular song Five Little Speckled Frogs whilst actively jumping each frog from the log into the cool pool!
