This hand-crafted beech wood tray enables children to explore the part-part-whole concept (one of the models widely used to teach Singapore Maths). It uses the ‘cherry model’ to clearly show how a whole can be split into two parts, each part being smaller than the whole. It will be a springboard to developing essential maths questioning skills and vocabulary, building a solid understanding of the relationship between a number and its component parts. The different sections will enable children to focus on a range of objects or counters without them rolling away! Measures 300 x 250mm. Age 3+.
