Made from natural FSC-certified pine, each figure has a 15mm flat base making them sturdy and easy to stand up. Based on the original illustrations from Handa’s Surprise by Eileen Browne, these ten fantastic colourful wooden characters will bring the story into the classroom. The figure of Handa is reversible so she starts the story with a colourful and varied basket of fruit but ends her journey with tangerines. Ideal for encouraging talk and narrative play, this set of Handa’s Surprise wooden figures is perfect for a variety of story mapping and sequencing activities. Safe for age 18m+.

Each set includes: Handa (70 x 115mm), Akeyo (45 x 95mm), Elephant (210 x 130mm), Giraffe (120 x 110mm), Zebra (135 x 115mm), Antelope (90 x 100mm), Ostrich (90 x 120mm), Monkey (100 x 50mm), Parrot (75 x 40mm) and Goat (105 x 70mm).
