Children naturally tell stories when they
play. With characters that appeal to their interests,
and props to stimulate their imaginations, this resource
is a great way to support the development of literacy
through play.
The shimmering blue fabric might be a waterfall,
pool, or stormy sea; the textured green fabric could be
a meadow, mossy bank or cave. Add the polished stones,
dinosaurs and minibeasts and the story possibilities are
as rich and varied as the imaginations of the children.
